Diverting Agents for Hydraulic Fracturing

In the USA, UAE, Iran Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other oil producing areas, several hundred chemical compounds are used in hydraulic fracturing also called fracking, fracing or frac. In some areas like UK only 'Non-Hazardous' chemicals are permitted for fracturing fluids by the Environment Agency. All chemicals have to be declared publicly and increasingly, food additive based chemicals are available to allow fracking to take place safely.

Mubychem is an internationally preferred source for Stimulation Chemicals and Hydraulic Fracturing Chemicals. We serve various oil and shale gas producing countries like USA UAE, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UK, Europe India etc. We are never too far from your well-site with multiple 24/7 company owned or rented warehouses in the India, USA and across the globe. With customers in several countries, we sell almost all the fracturing chemicals.

We manufacture a few types of Diverting Agents for Hydraulic Fracturing. PLA based diverting agent is commonly used for higher temperatures. Other diverting agents are based on Phthalic acid, EDTA. BPA etc. It can be broadly classed as Low Temperature and High Temperature Diverting Agent.

The most frequently used one is as under:

DA 355 HT, High Temperature Diverting Agent

Diverting agent DA-355 provides temporary diversion to ensure complete stimulation of all perforation clusters and targeted zones. DA-355 diverting agent is effective in high-temperature hydraulic fracturing and re-fracturing, acid fracturing and matrix acidizing applications, and provides both near-wellbore and far-field diversion in sandstone and carbonate formations. For simplified application and logistics, DA-355 can be pumped in variety of carrier fluids such as slick water, gelled acid, linear gels and viscoelastic surfactants.
DA-355 provides enhanced near-wellbore diversion in both cased-hole and open-hole applications using tri-model particle size distribution. DA-355, is comprised of a mixture of large robust particles as well as smaller particles, is designed to bridge across perforations, wormholes, and fractures, while minimizing the permeability of the diverter pack. A smaller bi-modal distribution of DA-355 can be pumped to provide a far-field diversion.
DA-355 is fully degradable and soluble in both hydrocarbons and water-based fluids while the rate of dissolution is sufficiently low to allow mixing and pumping without degradation of the DA-355. The DA-355 is engineered for use in applications ranging from 150F to 300F.

Applications
Effective diversion in initial fracturing and re-fracturing applications in both oil and gas wells
Effective performance in conventional and unconventional reservoirs
Sandstone and carbonate formations

DA-LT: Low Temperature Diverting Agent

Diverting agent DA-LT provides temporary diversion to ensure complete stimulation of all perforation clusters and targeted zones. DA-LT can be used for hydraulic fracturing and re-fracturing, acid fracturing and matrix acidizing applications, and provides both near-wellbore and far-field diversion in sandstone and carbonate formations. For simplified application and logistics, DA-LT can be pumped in variety of carrier fluids such as slick water, gelled acid, linear gels and viscoelastic surfactants in low-temperature applications.

DA-LT provides enhanced near-wellbore diversion in both cased-hole and open-hole applications using tri-model particle size distribution. DA-LT, is comprised of a mixture of large robust particles as well as smaller particles, is designed to bridge across perforations, wormholes, and fractures, while minimizing the permeability of the diverter pack. A smaller bi-modal distribution of DA-355 can be pumped to provide a far-field diversion.

DA-LT is fully degradable and soluble in both hydrocarbons and water-based fluids while the rate of dissolution is sufficiently low to allow mixing and pumping without degradation of the DA-LT. The DA-LT is engineered for use in applications ranging from 90° to 175°F.
