Calcium Borogluconate is a source of calcium for cattle, sheep and swine, to aid in the treatment of hypocalcemia, e.g., milk fever in cattle. Calcium Borogluconate is generally a sterile solution of Calcium Gluconate and Boric Acid in Water. Calcium Borogluconate is recommended for the treatment of Hypocalcemia under the guidence of veterinarian. Calcium borogluconate can be prepared by the reaction of five parts calcium gluconate to one part boric acid in an aqueous solution.
